   Sea Spirit is a kite, with a 3 metre x 3 metre head and a 15 metre
   tail, which took about two weeks of solid work to make. The kite
   won second prize at a 1994 International Festival in Malaysia.

The most amazing sight I've seen, though, was in Lucknow, India. It
was about 4:00 pm and suddenly the cloudless sky was filled with tiny
square kites. They were clearly cheap things that kids got just for the
purpose of fighting in the skies. We watched hundreds of kites dancing,
lines crossing, and then the losing kites plunging to the ground as the
winners went on to spar with others.
