Most collectors want first or early editions. If my own experience as a
seller is any guide, it's as important to know what to avoid as to know what
to collect. Here is a list of publishers which, for the most part, published
books that had been previously printed. This was done at a much lower price
than the original publisher charged, and made many books available to
working people that would have otherwise been out of their reach. I'm sure
this list is not complete, but it should give you a good start.
